While I have been a charcoal grill fan for many years I decided to buy gas this time around. I have had a Weber so I know just how awesome they are. The Q 300 really appealed to me because it has almost 400 square inches of grilling surface but it doesn't take up the space of a typical propane grill. I don't have a lot of room on my deck so I just can't go out any buy one of those larger 3 or 4 burner grills. This was a great choice for my family.

We use the Q300 about 4 times a week, all summer long, so it gets quite a bit of use. Assembly was simple and done with little effort. It looks like a real solid piece of equipment and the Weber cover is very tough. This grill lights up with no problems and gets right up to temperature, but what else would you expect from Weber. The best part about it, in my opinion, is the porcelain coated iron grates. I don't think I'll ever have to replace them.

If you are a big fan of searing and those tell-tale grill marks on the meat then look no further than this model. Of all of the grills I have owned over the years this one does the best job of that. You can also grill up veggies like a pro. I find myself cooking our entire meal on it. And while it doesn't have the space of some of the larger grills, it has more than enough room for our family. I even like the fact that the side tables can be lowered to save space. Like I said before I don't have a lot of room on my deck and when we are entertaining it becomes even more crowded. When we have company I can simply lower the side tables and be good to go.

Sure you can find many gas grills at a cheaper price but those just won't last or produce results like the Weber Q 300 will. You really get what you pay for. If you have the funds don't hesitate on buying it. You'll be glad you did.
