George Foreman GGR50B Indoor Outdoor Electric Grill

A great barbeque grill with only one shortfall

We bought the George Foreman GGR50B Indoor Outdoor electric barbecue grill and are quite pleased with it. We have had both gas and charcoal grills in the past but find this unit very easy to use while grilling vegetables and our favorite meats. Because of the unique design you really don’t need to have any special vegetable holders either which is useful. Plus, it cleans up as easy as the other Foreman grills which has always been a big selling point to them.

The temperature control works great as well and it really takes the guesswork out of your grilling. We haven’t experienced any problems with blowing fuses like another review that we read and we have used it at a variety of locations. The booklet that came with it stated that you need a 20 amp circuit but honestly we have been using it on 15 amps without any problems. We are just careful to limit the other things that are running off the circuit when the grill is running.

Really, the only thing that we don’t care for on the Indoor Outdoor is that the cover comes all the way off instead of just flipping up. This can be difficult when the grill is up to full grilling temperature. You have to find a place to set it down which is sometimes hard as you don’t want to damage anything. This isn’t a huge deal but one that makes me give it 4 stars instead of 5.

Overall this electric grill has been great. We recommend it to any people who come over to enjoy a meal with us. Whether you are grilling indoors or outdoors it is a solid choice for the money.
