Coleman Road Trip LXE Portable Gas Grill
This portable gas grill can do it all

I bought the Coleman Road Trip LXE barbecue grill last summer and was able to use it a couple of times while camping at our local campsite. My first experience was grilling out some delicious ballpark frank hot dogs for lunch. The dogs fit just right within the grooves of the grill and they got a nice and even cooking. Later on that day we decided to try it out while barbequeing a couple of steaks. The variable temperature control on the Road Trip LXE works terrific and the grate sturdiness made the preparation of these BBQ favorites a snap. The flavor was awesome as they were nicely crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Clean up was easy as nothing stuck to the grill surface at all.
If you are a barbecue lover and like to cook out on the Coleman often, even while you are at home, you should think about buying a 5 gallon propane canister. The smaller gas bottles just don't last very long but they are ok for the periodic trip to the lake. We did need to buy a propane adapter as well but this wasn't much money. We use our little Road Trip grill at home so we really wanted this feature.
It is fairly straightforward to light the Coleman and easy to clean up when you are done. Overall I would say this is a great little portable barbecue grill that is versatile and capable, while not overly complicated to operate. I recommend it to anybody who asks me about it.
