Char-Broil Patio Caddie Gas Grill Review

A nice small grill for the money

The Char Broil Patio Caddie is a small yet quality gas grill that works well when you don’t require the size and power of one of the larger gas grills, or if you don’t like to use charcoal. When you first look at it you will realize it is a well thought out design with a durable construction. Putting it together was kinda a pain but not as bad as my other larger barbecue grill. Took me around an hour, but should have been shorter.

Using it is simple with the push button ignition and burner control. The propane tank is easy to access to turn the gas on. Believe it or not it gives off quite a bit of heat for a smaller gas grill which is good for searing the meat to your liking. Sometimes it is difficult to tell if you have lighted the unit though but that is usual with a smaller barbeque grill. There just isn’t a lot of room under the hood.

Moving the Patio Caddie around is very easy but the tank could be bigger as I find myself filling it often. However, I find myself grilling with it multiple times per week so that may have something to do with it. If you have more room you should probably opt for a larger propane grill that has more burners but I’m sure you already know that. For a small single burner unit, this seems to me like one of the best available today.

For a smaller grill it sounds like this is a good choice. This category of barbecue grills is expanding every year as many people find themselves not need all of that grilling space. I’m glad you like the Patio Caddie.
