The air seems to circulate around differently than my prior two grills which affects the amount of time needed. I've learned to adjust the burners accordingly and it works much better. By Eric Spencer We bought the Weber One Touch Gold charcoal grill based on mostly positive reviews. For starters this is one of the most solidly built grills I've seen. When you look at it you can tell they used top notch materials in the construction, which doesn't surprise me since it says Weber on it. Assembly wasn't that bad but I did have a little trouble with the base ring for the ash catcher, but that was really the only thing that slowed me down. One thing I noticed the first time I was grilling with it is the design of the metal grate for the charcoal. By Kevin Moore While I have been a charcoal grill fan for many years I decided to buy gas this time around. I have had a Weber so I know just how awesome they are. The Q 300 really appealed to me because it has almost 400 square inches of grilling surface but it doesn't take up the space of a typical propane grill. I don't have a lot of room on my deck so I just can't go out any buy one of those larger 3 or 4 burner grills. This was a great choice for my family. We use the Q300 about 4 times a week, all summer long, so it gets quite a bit of use. Assembly was simple and done with little effort. We looked at a lot of grills and read many reviews. Of course, Weber was consistently the highest rated brand so we looked over their lineup. We do quite a bit of grilling so we needed more than 4 burners. This lead us to the Summit S670 and we are glad we found it. For starters you get a very even temperature across the entire cooking surface, which is huge by the way. This thing is big enough to cook for your whole neighborhood which is a plus because we have a big family. Now we find ourselves hosting most of them which is fine as we have the grill to handle it. By John Sullivan The Weber E-320 is the best gas grill I have ever owned, hands down. The whole grilling surface heats up very evenly and it puts nice marks on the meat. While assembly did take some time it was well worth it. I did have one problem but Weber took care of it quickly. I had the wrong hardware but they sent the right package overnight to me which was great. I think that the E320 is the only grill any homeowner would ever need. It is big enough to cook for a large family or gathering of friends and it really does a great job on the food. While it is not the cheapest gas grill you can find it is miles ahead of those cheaper models that fall in the $200 or so price range. I opted to spend the extra money and am glad I did. Putting it together was not difficult but it did take some patience. After I fired it up for my first barbecue I quickly realized why I bought it. We love grilling steaks, chicken, and hot dogs and were afraid we could no longer grill them up during the summer. This lead us to finding a good alternative that could grill the way we liked it but not using propane. The electric Weber Q140 was the way to go. This barbecue grill heats up quite quickly. It also retains heat very well and grills everything all the way through. A nice feature is the cover is only warm to the touch even after 10 mins of cooking. By John Landon A long time ago I was the proud owner of one of the original Weber Smokey Joe charcoal grills and it got a lot of use over the years. I found that it was a little difficult to take with me to the park as it was tippy and seemed to fall around in the back of my pickup. The grates, kettle, and lid would just fly all over the place creating a nice mess. I recently replaced it with the new Gold grill and am happy to say that my problems are solved. The lid now locks down while transporting it and it just doesn't seem to be as tippy as the old model. The new Weber Smokey Joe Gold also holds the ashes in the belly of the kettle instead of the catcher on the prior model so there isn't a big mess underneath. One thing that works well for me is to line the bottom with aluminum foil before putting the charcoal in. When the grill is completely cooled I will just fold up the foil and throw it in the garbage. Oh well, gives me an excuse to buy another gas grill though. I really look at quite a few other grills but wanted to stick with Weber because of the quality I have experienced first hand. I was thinking about the Q 220 but the only difference I could see was the built in thermometer which wasn't important to me. By J Turpin USA The grill surface on the Weber Q 100 portable gas grill is quite large as it can cook six decent sized burgers with room to spare. While there is enough grilling room for a full sized chicken the lid won't quite allow it. Being as it is a smaller BTU grill than some of the other grills you can find, I was a little weary of how it would perform but this unit heats up to temperature just fine. It will leave the telltale sear marks on any meat that you put on it which will appeal to any barbecue lover. When I found the Q at almost $500 cheaper the decision was a no brainer, and I'm glad I made it. Plus I bought it at amazon.com and they gave me $.01 shipping and I had the grill in 2 days.
