DeLonghi CGH800-U Retro Panini Electric Grill Review

Great grill that makes tasty meals in a hurry

The DeLonghi Retro Panini electric indoor grill is a great product. Our family has enjoyed many different panini dinners with it and all agree that it really beats our old toaster oven. The cleanup is easy and the grill leaves very little mess. The most important thing, however, is the quality of the grilling and from our experience the paninis taste excellent. They come out very hot and crips which is just how we like them. Some of the other reviews I read complained about the lack of an on/off switch but this is not a big deal. It's very simple to just pull the plug. I'm assuming that since there are heating elements on both the top and bottom that there is no place for the switch.

Nice electric grill when you get used to it

Overall I'm very satisfied with the Delonghi Perfecto indoor electric grill. I additionally have given it to a friend as a birthday gift and he also likes it. And while there are some problems listed on other reviews that I read like it not getting hot enough I feel that this is from incorrect use.

As with any of the other barbecue grills (gas, charcoal, or electric) you really need to let it warm up to the right temperature. This will give you the best grilling results.
