Great gas grill with great support

I recently bought the Ducane Affinity 3200 as I wanted a 3 burner gas grill for my deck. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box was how easy it was to put together. I had the whole thing assembled in under an hour. This is much better than any of my prior grills so that was definitely a good start.

Well, I have used the Ducane 4 times now to barbecue my dinner and I can definitely say that this model burns pretty hot. The entire unit as well as grilling surface gets quite a bit hotter than my last grill which is something to get used to. It does give off nice and even cooking throughout the food and the burner on the side works very well. I also find that it is easy to clean after I’m done grilling.

I do, however, have a couple small complaints. First I haven’t had any luck finding a good rotisserie for it. I looked around for a third party one but have had no luck, probably due to the different looking bracket design. I might check with Ducane but I wanted to save some money by using another company. Also there isn’t a back on the propane tank housing which isn’t a big deal but it would look better if there was. This doesn’t affect the performance of the Affinity though.

I have read many reviews that stated the customer support is great. Ducane is owned by the Weber company so they have all that expertise working for them. I hope I don’t have any problems with it but it’s nice knowing that they will stand behind it in the event of trouble. Overall this is an excellent gas grill with only a couple of small quirks. I’d buy it again.

This grill is a huge upgrade over my old Sunbeam

I am a big fan of grills that are highly rated by both consumers and those who review them. The Weber Genesis E-320 fits that description perfectly. While it is not the cheapest gas grill you can find it is miles ahead of those cheaper models that fall in the $200 or so price range. I opted to spend the extra money and am glad I did.

Putting it together was not difficult but it did take some patience. After I fired it up for my first barbecue I quickly realized why I bought it. The burners heat up quickly and provide a very even flame across the entire grilling surface. The overall construction of it is simply amazing. I still can’t believe how the fit was so perfect with almost no tolerances between the pieces. This was a huge upgrade over my prior gas grill which was difficult to put together and never really looked right. It is clear to me that the people at Weber really have their manufacturing down to a science.

I did do some research on other similar grills from many sources. I checked other websites and looked at some barbecue magazines. From what I read and heard this Weber Genesis will provide me with many years of great grilling, especially if you buy the grill cover which I did. It’s really the cadillac of grill brands and I can now see why.

If you buy the E-320 you will definitely love the build quality and performance. You will love the size of the grilling surface and will find yourself inviting your neighbors over for a meal. Highly recommended from our family.

Wow, what a grill this is

I recently bought the Ducane Meridian 5 burner gas grill after a lot of deliberation. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend that much money on a new barbecue grill but I find myself grilling often so I needed a top model. So far, the Meridian has far exceeded my expectations and believe me they were high.

For starters it arrived safely at my door in under a week in perfect condition. I wasn’t sure how a large grill like this would ship but it had no problems at all. It was packaged up very well. So now, on to the performance of it.

The huge grilling area is just what I needed. The twin side burners are great but the selling point was the five main burners that crank out 60,000 BTU’s of power. I can cook a whole meal and then some for my entire family and I love doing that on this Ducane. The stainless steel design is great. It looks like it will last for many years and I really plan on taking care of it since I spent so much on it. The fitted cover that came with it was a nice addition and will help with that.

Overall, while it is an expensive grill, I highly recommend the Ducane Meridian 5 burner. You get a ton of grilling space, a solid construction, and all the power you need for any meal. They have been building grills for a long time so they are a name you can trust. If you need a full sized unit then this is your best choice.

Good Value In This Grill For The Money

After doing quite a bit of research on gas grills in the approximately $200 range I decided to buy the Char-Griller Grillin’ Pro. I have been using it for several months and it still looks just like it did when I pulled it out of the box. The cast iron that is used to build it gives off very even heat across the burners. It really does a nice job of grilling everything we put on it. The drip tray is also easy to get to which is a nice change from the other barbecue grill we owned. That one just had the small hole with the hanging can.

I also like the smoker attachment as it gives us the option of smoking our meal for something different. While I mainly use the gas grill for our cooking this is a nice change. It didn’t cost much extra and I felt it was well worth the price.

One thing I did not like that much was the assembly as it really took a couple of people to get everything right. It really isn’t something you should rush through but rather you should take your time and make sure everything lines up. This is probably the case with all grills but I wish it was a little easier to do. I am not that adept at building things though so if you are familiar with using tools then it will probably take you less time. Other than that I love everything else about the grill and am glad to barbecue on it all summer long.

In this price range there are many other nice looking gas grills but they are not constructed as well. The Char Griller Grillin Pro is a step above them and really has a tried and true design. You can easily grill just about anything with little preparation and little cleanup. I recommend it to anyone who wants a quality cooker without spending a fortune.

A lot of grilling for the money

The Cuisinart CGG-200 gas grill really gives you a lot of grilling capability for a portable design. The 12,000 BTU’s get it to heat up in no time and the cast iron grate gives you very nice grill marks on the meat, which is really the signature of any grillmaster.

A couple of qualities about these grills that you don’t see mentioned anywhere are the reversible grate and the ability to connect to a larger 20 lbs. propane tank. The grate has a different layout on each side with one being larger and wider which is ideal for burgers and some more delicate type foods where you need to flip them often. The other side has the bars that come to a point almost like a ‘V’ which works well for steaks and large chicken breasts. And as for the larger tank this is very handy when we want to use this grill on our deck at our home. We like to use the standard smaller tank at the lake but at home it is nice to use the bigger one. When we contacted Cuisinart they confirmed we could do this but to just make sure there were no leaks in the connection (no brainer).

Most of my life I have been a charcoal barbecue grill person but the price on this was too good to be true. It gives me ample grilling space and is portable on top of that, how much more can you ask for? The setup is very fast and you can grill right on top of a picnic table which again, is very nice if you like to take it with you to the lake or a local park.

The construction is very nice as well. Cuisinart put some thought into the design and what materials to use in it. Stainless steel looks nice and should last for a long time. I recommend the CGG-200 ‘All Foods’ to anyone who sees it and all of my family members are impressed with the quality of the grilled food.

Very good portable gas grill

I bought this Coleman 2 burner propane barbecue grill in addition to the Coleman Griddle. Overall it is a very nice stove and is quite lightweight in design which is to be expected since it is built to travel. It also has two fold out shelves that can be used as a wind break and to hold the lid firmly in place when you are grilling on it. Even though it is light it remains quite secure even when windy.

We use this gas grill on our patio as well as when we are camping so it really serves a dual purpose in our family. It’s nice that it can be used with the larger propane canister at home yet still accepts the smaller, portable one when on the road. The only thing I had to buy to use it with the larger tank is the 4 foot connector hose which was rather inexpensive.

Some of the other reviews I read stated that it can get quite hot, almost too hot to cook your food. But for me, since it produces a max of 20,000 BTU’s I didn’t have this problem. Keeping the flames under control is no problem in my opinion so this criticism is unwarranted. One thing to keep in mind is that like all other propane grills the flames can be very clean so it can be difficult to see them. You might not think the flame is turned up high but it is.

We are very happy with the Coleman Electronic Ignition 2 burner gas grill. Some of our friends who have better known Webers have stated that they like ours better because it is portable and still big enough to grill most things.

Great grill that makes tasty meals in a hurry

The DeLonghi Retro Panini electric indoor grill is a great product. Our family has enjoyed many different panini dinners with it and all agree that it really beats our old toaster oven. The cleanup is easy and the grill leaves very little mess. The most important thing, however, is the quality of the grilling and from our experience the paninis taste excellent. They come out very hot and crips which is just how we like them. Some of the other reviews I read complained about the lack of an on/off switch but this is not a big deal. It’s very simple to just pull the plug. I’m assuming that since there are heating elements on both the top and bottom that there is no place for the switch.

Other people said that the ridges on these grills are too far apart but in my opinion it makes cleanup much easier. I really like the design as I have struggled with cleaning other electric models in the past. We find that the panini is nicely marked after a few minutes of grilling. No complaints with the flavor here.

A nice feature is that the electric cord wraps underneath to keep it out of the way. It has a nice look to it so we don’t mind just leaving it out on the counter when we aren’t cooking with it. The top is heavy enough to press down on the panini but we found that the cheese will sometimes ooze out of the side when the top is pressed by hand. Once you get used to it you will be very happy with it. We are glad we bought the Delonghi Retro and would recommend it to anyone who loves to make paninis in their own home.

A grill that is simple to clean

The GRP99 Next Generation is the third electric George Foreman grill I have owned and I am thrilled that they have decided to add removable plates. These are simple to clean, and much easier than the previous grills I had. It’s easy to pop off the bottom and top plates and just put them in the dishwasher. The next time you are ready for some grilling it will be nice and clean.

This electric barbecue grill also has a few more settings than the traditional Foreman. The older grills would just require plugging in and letting warm up. The GRP99 requires a little more thought as you have to set the temperature first. There is a guide that comes with it but you will still need to experiment a little bit. I am completely used to it by now and like the control. I also find that it preheats very quickly which is nice for an indoor grill.

If you are looking for a George Foreman than this model really works well. I love the fact that it is simple to clean and it cooks with the best of them.

Nice dual purpose barbecue grill

I have had the Char-Griller Duo gas and charcoal grill for a few months now and it has been a great addition to our deck. This grill really does everything we need. It was quite easy to put together even though it is on the bigger side of grills we have seen. The vegetable oil coating on it was a little weird at first but I guess it is there for protection.

The amount of grilling space is really huge too, on either side. The charcoal height is even adjustable while you are cooking on it (with hand protection of course). We find that both sides cook the meat very evenly and leave nice grill marks. If we are in a rush we will use the gas side but when we have more time like on the weekends we will fire up the charcoal side. We have entertained our whole family more than once with no problems.

Some of the positive features of the Char Griller Duo are: use of either gas or charcoal, optional side fire box for smoking, easy to assemble, very sturdy, and the grilling is simply superb on both sides.

The things we don’t like about it are: it’s heavy to move around and the price was more than we wanted to spend. However, we feel that you get a great product for the money so it was worth it. Overall it is the most amazing barbecue grill I have had.

A better barbecue grill than gas

I originally bought a Meco barbecue grill over 15 years ago and it lasted for many years of grilling. I decided to upgrade to their Stand Up Square Utility charcoal grill after reading some of the positive reviews. I’m very happy I made that decision.

We had a cookout earlier this year and I used this to grill up some chicken using my father’s secret recipe. Everyone asked what I used on the chicken because they loved the flavor. Since that time I have been on a charcoal BBQ grilling frenzy doing steaks, chicken, burgers, and even some vegetables on the Meco. This grill really cuts down on flare ups when compared to gas grills which keeps the temperature even across the surface. I think this is key to a good result.

I love using charcoal and don’t think I’ll go back to propane again. I really like this one from Meco and feel it is the best choice for the price. I recommend it to anyone who doesn’t mind using charcoal and wants a great tasting meal.
